The One Time Offer Random Rotator is a simple yet VERY powerful tool for displaying many different types of promotional material on your web site.

You would have already experienced many of the promotional types from visiting either Snazzy Promotions or Fire Sale Buddy, where you purchased the scripts

In the left and right hand columns were different types of advertising being used.

A Monthly New Products Panel that displays all new products and rotated randomly.

A Today In Time Panel that displayed Sales Tips and rotated randomly.

A What's New Panel that displays any News type or update and rotated randomly.

And when logging into your Customer Lounge you were greeted with the One Time Offer also rotated randomly.

You can have any of these shown anywhere on your domain, doesn't have to be only as part of your customer lounge.

All you need is a single line of code and you have your One Time Offer's set up to capture all of your error pages from your server.

You could also have them rotating on any and all of the following:

Thank you pages after a successful sale

Thank you page(s) after successfully subscribing to your newsletter, ezine or membership site

What about just as fly-catcher pages optimized for the search engines.

You could then add all your products to the One Time Offer Random Rotator as these fly-catcher pages.

Now what about adding all your Affiliate Links. Don't just add the link... Write a small article on it and add them to the One Time Offer Random Rotator as well.

And or even write a single paragraph on your Affiliate program and add them to the What's New Panel.

Just think outside of the box and I am sure you will see many many more benefits of using the One Time Offer Random Rotator for anything you can think of.

The code required to have these displayed on any domain you want..even on other webmasters sites is easier to generate than you think.

Just add the following code to a .php web page:

Also make sure you change the number in the validated = '5' to the number you want displayed.

At the moment if you were to use the exact code it would display anything listed in the What's New Panel.

You can use the drop down selection box to see which number you should use.

One minor but major thing to ensure you have done. :-)

Make sure the connect.php, that connects to your mysql server is in the same folder as the specials.php.

Why? Well without it, nothing gets displayed except php error messages.

So make sure whatever you have named your db connection script is in the same folder.

Just highlight the code, copy and paste into your favorite html editor or notepad and save it as a .php web page.

For instance specials.php

Now use the following code to call that .php page into any other web page or domain you want.

Make sure you add the full Web Url to the src= above - http://www.whatever.com/specials.php

Just remember with the above code it must be embedded into an existing .php page.

Now if you want to insert the specials.php into an html page then you are going to have to use an iframe.

An iframe is -- an inline frame similar to normal frames for a laymans look at it.

Now because iframes have to know the exact width and height of the pages it is calling this tends to create havoc with different lengths of pages.

Either you set the height to an average height for most pages and have some show with a scroll bar and others with a huge white background under them.

Fortunately there is a solution to this that I use on Snazzy Promotions that allows me to display any page with various heights and not worry about it looking like a disaster.

Copy and paste the following code into the head of your html or .php page. Works in both.

And now you need the iframe code to insert into your web page where ever you want the specials.php to show. Again this will work with .htm, .html and .php pages.

If you save the specials.php into a sub-folder on your server then make sure you change the web url to reflect it, in both the above code snippetts.
